I have read the thread that Strawbs posted about your unfortunate situation. I have also read the translation above. It must be a very sad time for you right now, but all I can say that at least you have only lost your air fare on the waste of space man.

You have kept your dignity and your self respect intact. When you have a gut feeling about something or someone, you should go with it, it is a form of protection to keep you from harm. You should try to get a book entitled 'The Gift of Fear' by Gavin de Becker, it tells you that you should follow your instincts when it comes to weighing up a dangerous situation. For example, if you get on a lift (elevator) alone and then someone suddenly gets on and it makes you feel uncomfortable, but you tell yourself not to be silly, your instinct is telling you to 'get the hell out'

Same goes in this situation. I bet you are feeling upset and sad, but I can guarantee you now that the sadness and upset you would be subjected to in the future would be a million times worse than what you are feeling right now. Time is a great healer Jenny.
