Another totally deluded Yankee fruitloop!
This one met her 'boyfriend' or LDR as she calls him on....wait for....t'interenet! Yay! Like all the others (Jellybelly, Sirin etc) she said she wasn't looking for a relationship - which means this was FATE! It always makes me laugh when people say they weren't looking for a relationship - not much! They remind me of those women who join dating agencies and say they didn't want to do it - their friends made them do it! Yeah right! Anyway, this bespectacled beige-looking woman realised her feelings for her cyber askim had changed 'because he was always there for her' and she liked his "VIRTUAL COMPANY". Hmmm. This man works in a bus station, and like all the other men who don't work the resorts (cheeky chappie engineers/language students/bus drivers) words got around that it's far easier fishing one off the Internet - and much cheaper too. You don't even have to brush your teeth or change your socks - bonus!
Back to the bespectacled beige woman - in July last year she and the Otopark worker became an Official Virtual LDR Couple. They have their ups and downs - just like any other normal vurtual couple do :-0 and he'll disappear for two or three days - but he always comes back!
Sounds wonderful!
Here's her post...
"Thanks for the warm welcomes. Well sadly I didn't get to meet him on a holiday as İve never yet been outside of the US. Instead I met him through the Internet but not a "dating" site. And at the time I was not looking to get back into another relationship for a while. It was just a social/chat site and really we started off as just friends. And really the only way we could chat with each other was MSN or Skype because neither of us could make International calls on our phones. But msn became the way we would do pretty much all communication (as much as I could wish for more) but it worked for us because he would come around every day to chat. He would tell me news from Turkey, introduce me to the music styles and share photos of his beautiful city that he took himself. Though with the time difference is usually only able to chat with me at his work because he works the "graveyard" shift (Turkey time) at an Otopark.
After a several months I knew that the way I felt about him had changed into something more because he was always there for me and I liked his virtual company. Maybe when he knew that, he realized he liked me more as well and since July of last year we've been an LDR and he's continued to be around. May have our ups and downs like when he has problems with the work computer, so I don't see him online for 2 sometimes 3 days but he has always come back. And yes we have talked about and tried to plan a visit for me to there this year so I can finally meet him in person. (which I would not have done after only a few months of knowing him)
So maybe still a blossoming story here, but too soon for wedding bells and all that!"
Oh, her avatar is of a cup of cay......
Woof woof!
