Karagozler Fethiye

I'm in a travel mode this morning!

Just wondering what people think of Karagozler? I've stayed there a few times, and have gone for lunch there, where they have what looks very similar to an Olde English pub! It isn't, of course - it's a typical little wooden town-house that they have dotted around Fethiye - but it feels like a little English pub!

We also stayed at the Ece Saray Marina Hotel - that was very nice, and had wonderful views of the harbour. I suppose Karagozler is a bit similar to Gocek in some ways.......

Anyone else been there?

Have to say I have not been there, however, when we meet up for our exclusive day out, maybe we can extend it to a couple of days and you can show me some of the more elite places to visit whilst in Turkey.

Here's a link to the hotel we stayed at in Karagozler. We had a suite, which I think may be pictured on here - it looks identical, anyway. We stayed there a few times - twice in the summer and once for New Year. The balconies are beautiful........and the views to die for.

Wow Strawbs, thats spectacular, I will email my wealthy friend this link, he can book us up for a couple of nights in one of the suites when I go over in August.
