Places you dream going to

I see theres a thread a bit like this but this one is different.
If money was no problem where would you go for holidays and visits anywhere in the world?

Hi Sal,

Well I've already been to some beautiful places across the world - one of the perks of being married to an airline pilot - but we would have travelled all over, anyway - I love travelling. Have to say there's a lot of places I'd like to go back to - Italy, Sydney, Australia, Florida just for starters.

But places I'd like to go that I've never been are Mauritius, Fiji, Hawaii, Monaco, Sardinia, Great Barrier Reef, the Grenadine Islands, Mustique, Virgin Islands, the Maldives.........oh I could go on and on! This year we've been skiing in Austria and also to Venice, and then in the summer we're going to Spain on a family holiday, which we're really looking forward to. It's lovely having the family all together, children, grandchildren etc..... It'll be a real seaside holiday - except it'll be in Spain. Then we're going to Cuba - sooooo looking forward to that one, too......

How about you? Where would you like to go if money was no object? And don't say Stinky Tinky!

Oh, talking about Turkey - when we were in Italy and Austria we were probably the fattest people there - never saw any fatties - and no cheap tatty tattoos walking along, either. Not ONE. Totally different class of people. You can get a glimpse of what I mean by looking at TripAdvisor. If you go onto the Venice forum you'll see that most of the people have good grammar, and come across civilised and cultured. Then go onto the Turkish forums - and see how the writing deteriorates (both grammar, style and content) and how lots of them seem so vulgar and uneducated. I suppose Turkey attracted the rubbish because it used to be so cheap........and so many of them come from either Scotland or up north! It's VERY noticeable.

Good topic. I would go on a private sailing boat and go all around the caribbean islands for like 2 months Make it 3 or 4 lol. I would also go to LA and vegas and the south of France and Oz to finish it off then start all over again Italy also. why is everything so dear now? aaaaaah!!!!

My son was promoted to Staff Captain of a large cruise liner in February and I will be sailing on his ship this coming autumn from Southampton for 23 nights to sail around the Caribbean taking in St Kitts, Grenada, Antigua and Barbados as well as passing Madeira and Portugal en route.

Cannot wait, have already started getting my designer clothes ready

Talking of gloves, do you remember the O J Simpson case, it was the glove that had been 'switched' that got him off the hook. His hands are huge, yet the glove allegedly found at the scene would have fitted Michael Jackson.

I vaguely remember something about the glove in the OJ case....

So it was switched over, then? I know nearly everyone believed he was guilty, and the evidence against him was overwhelming - I think it's terrible that he got off with that!

But back to the glove : that sounds premeditated in that case. It was no crime of passion.

As much as I love turkey, it's not one of my top 3 destinations.
Turkeys changed so much over the years, and the antics some of the " tourists" get up to is cringe worthy. It's embarrassing don't you think ?
