Airlines 2012

Has anyone booked their holiday/flight for this year yet? If so, which ones have you used?

With the flop of Holidays4U and Gold Trail, and Thomas Cook being a bit shaky, the competitors are having a field day.

Monarch appear to be doing some cheapo flights, but are they associated with Thomas Cook (whoops nearly put TC - there are so many TC's now, cannot use that abbreviation )

I have a set list of the following:

Jet2
Easy Jet
FlyThomson (although Turkish Nationals are not allowed to go flight only, they will only accept package tour)
Flythomascook
Monarch

Their prices fluctuate almost every day, so its knowing when to catch a deal.

I dont use Turkish Airlines or Pegasus as dont want a detour to Istanbul. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Hi ruby we have booked our flights with pegasus for may as they were really reasonable then.have to say each time we looked the price went up,and we waited two weeks after looking to book and they had gone up so to be honest it pays to book early nowadays x

I thought booking last minute could find good prices? as it changed then?

Hi pol yeah it seems to be the thing now but im sure if you did look for last minute bargains you might find them especially if its only 1 or 2 tickets.we just couldnt take the risk for last minute deals,but it seemed everytime i looked it went up and up so thats why we booked x

Funny you say that Hayley I notice that as well, when ever I check a flight or hol next time I look at it the price has gone up, it makes me scream!!!! remember the days when you could fly to Dalaman for £60 return and they wasnt that long ago!!! Flights are so dear now it really gets on my wick so I dont blame you for nabbing one quick, its all you can do these days
