Thats a bloody hand contraption, I'm gonna get one! Just sort of thing you need when your out and about in. Turkish toilets are terrible so I can just use this and pour ir down the hole! LOL

I think they're a fantastic idea! The woman who invented Shewee was actually on Dragon's Den years ago - I think they turned her down (they don't always get it right!) but she carried on regardless, and is now running a successful business! I think she's got back-up from Dyson - and he does hoovers! Or vacuum cleaners, should I say!

Imagine how handy they'd come in when you have to use some of those holes in the ground!

Oooh I really think these are a fantastic idea! They even come with an extender so you can pee sitting down - so, yes, they would be brilliant for disabled women, Zeynap!

I started reading the story behind it last night, and it certainly gives you ideas!!

Would you believe I discussed this in the pub tonight (yes, I had a get out of jail free pass from the parents to look after the children so I could go out with my brother, sister-in-law and my cousin who is over from Canada on holiday) and I told them that I think this will be the purchase of the year! They were all quite disgusted....I don't think they know how hard it is to squat over those holes in the ground

Hi Electra,

I think they're amazing! Did you know you they come in five different colours, too? You could match them to your outfit!

What I like about them is that they also come with a spout, so you can pee sitting down! So no more having to pull up down some country lane and hiding behind a prickly bush to do a sneaky pee! You can just sit in the car, all blase, and stick the spout out the window!

5 different colours too??? Can this product get any better??? My only concern is inserting it into the bag without getting wee on your hands. I know they say urine is sterile outside of the body but I don't subscribe to that part...

Slightly off topic. I remember using the toilets upon landing at Dalaman airport about 100 years ago, long before they opened up the new terminal. The old building is now used for Domestic Flights. Anyway, I had held on all during the flight due to the fact I had attempted to use the aircraft toilet, but was nearly sick at the stink and had to exit before I could do the business. Other passengers must have had the same problem as there was a queue a mile long for the women's toilets at Dalaman. I peeped into the mens toilets, there were a couple of cubicle toilets as well as urinals, but no men using the toilets. So, I decided to use one of the cubicle toilets as I couldnt wait in the queue (really must invest in one of these hand held toilets now they are on the market - NOT!) anyway, I must have been sat on the toilet for about 5 minutes as I was at bursting point. By the time I came out, the men's toilets were full to capacity and the looks I got as I emerged from the cubicle made me laugh so much it was a good job I had already had my wee otherwise I would have pissed myself laughing.

You're never going to believe this but I did exactly the same in Dalaman! Ha-ha!

The only difference was it was the toilets in the departure lounge, and it was one of those days when the old terminal used to get packed. Anyway, when I got to the toilets there was a really long queue, and I needed to go quickly, so I peered at the Men's Toilets and they looked empty, so I walked up, stuck my head in, no-one in there so went into a cubicle and did my pee.

Just like you, as I was sitting there I heard footsteps (a few people at that!) and thought I'd wait a bit, but then I heard more coming and going, so decided to just brazen it out. I wasn't brave enough to wash my hands but I walked out with my head held high as though I'd just made a simple mistake! I avoided all eye contact, but I saw all these heads swing round at me in shock, then I heard one of them giggle as I walked out the door! It was funny!
