    One Born Every Minute

Post  ruby on Thu Mar 29, 2012 8:28 am

Just watching One Born Every Minute and often wonder how the hell the couples actually manage to make a baby. Either mother or father are dog ugly, chavs, missing teeth, they all tend to resemble the drop outs on Jeza Kyle show. Also the size of that fecking mug that the midwife picks up at the beginning of the programme every week, she must have the muscles of Madonna and pxss like a racehorse every five minutes Laughing

Cannot bear to watch the USA version as there is a bloody CCTV camera that for some reason the Yanks keep showing a close up shot of it, very odd affraid

I must agree with you, Ruby-those couples do look like something that would produce "The Hills Have Eyes" type of offspring-and usually they have weird looking little buggers. There was a turkish dad on the other night-he kept running out because he couldnt see his wife in pain....to be honest, he just looked bored and probably couldnt access Facebook from the delivery room

THD your post and Fanny's post mentioning she used to work in gynae jogged my memory to the year BC when I gave birth to my first child. I was resting in the hospital bed when I heard such a commotion going on up the corridor, shouting, screaming, staff rushing around, hospital porters charging about. I eased myself of the bed, slipped on my dressing gown and went into the corridor to see what was going on.

Horror upon horror, a muslim man had beaten his wife up very badly as she had just given birth to twin girls. These babies were their first born and he felt she had brought great shame to his family. He was escorted out of the hospital, but I felt so sorry for the poor woman.

Strange also, as I was in a ward of 4 ladies, and the lady opposite me had given birth to twin boys, she already had 2 boys and would have loved to have had twin girls. The sister on the ward held one of her twins and said 'why did you have to have a little tail?'. I always remember that those twin boys were both over 8lbs each Shocked
