Well I said I would make an announcement today, so here goes:-
I've been sooooooooo bursting with excitement and am so very proud of my son, he has just been promoted to Staff Captain of a large cruise liner. He has worked for the same cruise company for the last 15 years and has worked very hard to climb the ladder. He was promoted the end of February.
He told me last month that he was going to give me a big surprise today, and although I was half expecting it I am thrilled to be able to tell you all that I will be sailing on his ship this coming autumn when the ship leaves Southampton for 23 nights to sail around the Caribbean taking in St Kitts, Grenada, Antigua and Barbados as well as passing Madeira and Portugal en route.
Yipeeeeeeee, I'm one very proud and happy mother.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.

My wardrobe is expensive and extensive and being just a size 8, I can fit into all designer gowns. I have legs to die for too, can wear really skimpy shorts which attracts loads of male attention both in the UK and abroad.
No shapely size 12/20 for me or having to join cyber diet clubs to shed those winter pounds
Oh and I indulged in a really gooey chocolate egg on Easter Sunday, yum yum

Actually, that was my pc playing up - Firefox keeps seizing up so I changed over to IE (hate it!) I uninstalled Firefox this morning, so it was a miracle it went through

Thank you, Strawbs! I am really happy in my new job - I missed working in the museum world. I also enlisted the help of a spiritual coach. He's helping me work through some things so I can understand how I let such a vile man into my life.
You guys were really my lighthouse in a stormy sea.

What lovely news for your son and you Ruby. The cruise is the cherry on the cake too! I bet you'll have the trip of a lifetime and you'll be so proud when you take your place at the Captain's table for dinner.

Now this is one travel experience where I will really have to be on my very best behaviour and I definitely will not be chatting up any of the staff
