There's one woman on TL whose husband has just been granted his visa, and I was really shocked to see that she'd written in her covering letter, when applying for it, how 'if it was refused it would go against their human rights'! Fancy putting that in your covering letter! First one, too! OK, they did grant him the visa, but only because they obviously met all the criteria. But I bet the ECO would have loved to have refused it - if only for the bloody cheek of her being so bolshy and putting a veiled threat in her covering letter. Lucky for her they couldn't turn it down, but I bet they would have done if they could have. Cheeky moo!

She sounds like she's going to be a bit of a handful. Especially as she's married a man whose already tried to get to Europe (Holland last time Wink ) and was refused that visa. He sounds like he's going to be trouble too. What a match!

It makes me laugh at the amount of paperwork these women produce to include with their Visa applications truly believing it adds more weight to their application. As the old saying goes, less is more, especially when it comes to the ECO making a decision.

Of course, this paperwork NEVER gets anywhere near to the British Embassy as Worldbridge sift through it all and shred it.

The ECO is NOT interested in reading War and Peace, all he/she is interested in is the facts and that the relationship is genuine, the sponsor is financially secure, has a regular income and adequate accommodation and that the applicant will not have any recourse to public funds/social housing for the duration of the two year settlement period.

By the way, writing information on these forums about how you are going to con the ECO is dangerous, ECO's read these forums and have the power to intercept IP addresses, so if you think you are going to pull a fast one, think again, they already have your application 'marked' and can identify your online application as soon as you press the send button.

Ha! LOL!!! How ironic. She's the numpty from the "trying to compromise with a moron" thread isn't she?

She's spouting off about her human rights - well, she'll see what happens to her human rights once her precious "hubby" askim gets over here and starts throwing his weight around, telling her what she can and can't do. Let's just hope she continues to see it all as a "few hiccups of stubbornness along the way".

He's already totally vetoed her being able to choose any English names that she might like to name any children they might have.

Human rights <<shakes head in disbelief>>.

    Bloody Nerve 2012

It appears that a lot of askims are not well pleased with life in the fecking UK, even though their wives are working full time to keep them sat on their arses all day long and then they come home and do 'women's work' by carrying out a job search for Mr Lazy who has been chewing on his bird seed all day long watching Turkish TV which has been installed to make their adjustment to living in the UK a little easier Evil or Very Mad More fool you Mrs, you must be barking mad. Mad

Then you've got another plonker who has only been here for 4 weeks and is going back to Turkey in 2 weeks time for 10 days to help with his adjustment. Mrs P is worried he may not return. I wouldnt worry too much if I were you, he's a loser same as all the rest of the lazy lay abouts who cannot be bothered to get up and find a job, any sort of job as beggars cannot be choosers. Strange when they apply for Settlement they enclose offers of jobs for the ECO to read, then when they get here the job does not exist, its just a scam to get the visa. Then the bleaters start moaning that the British Embassy have cocked it up. No, the ECO's know all these scams relating to so called job offers that dont exist.

Anyone who needs advice on how to get to the nearest airport for a return flight back to your country of origin, just pm me, I will do my best to send you a link to Multimap. Laughing
