Ok, I feel the need to nip this debate in the bud - no one else on this forum is called to justify who they are. What on earth are we doing running round like this just because a person who is nothing to this forum has aired her personal opinion somewhere else on the internet?

I'm sorry - but I'm not even prepared to justify this with discussing Gem's details. I can confirm that she emailed me her details in September 09 -but you know what? We ALL give information, support and advice to one another, but that's all it is - one person's advice. Plenty of people on here have professional qualifications, but it doesn't make us right all the time, nor do we claim that it does.

With no offence at all to Gem - she is here in the capacity as a member, and gives advice as a member. If people trust that advice, they take personal responsibility for that - just like if they choose to take the advice from anyone else. No one pays to be here, and no one makes any money from the site - so accept it for what it is!

Now, I really would like it if we tried to get back to using the site as a meeting place for mutual support and stopped picking on each other. We've sat back because we don't like to heavily moderate the site - but please can I make an appeal that we all consider the new members who may need the site more than others, and really need to feel that they're not going to be pulled up by other members. What sort of impression does all this make?

Come on guys - if we don't care about people that need help, what are we doing here?

I suggest that a few laughs together in chat wouldn't go amiss, a few lighthearted threads to remind us that we all have a lot in common. We come on here in our freetime - we should be a) enjoying ourselves b) learning something from others or c) helping someone. Life's to short to p'ss around doing anything else !!!

Talking about people is not our style as you know, so we gave this some thought before posting - but it's been brought to our attention that a member has been making comments about other members and the moderating team on another site. It's not the first time that we've had concerns about this person raised, but we try not to make rash judgements. I think you'll agree though, that this warranted posting up.

Speaking as a team, we're not overly bothered by what has been said about us(everyone has an opinion!), and I hope other members won't be either, but we wanted you to see this so that you understand why the member has been banned.

If you want to comment, please try to keep it fairly civilised! No need to drop to that level eh?!

*Note - we can't comment on whether or not Gemsgirl is a lawyer / Immigration Advisor, we only had her word for that - so all we can comment on is that we believe the messages to be genuine.

Good riddance

In the years that ive been on these sites ive never seen a more deluded woman with a vicious temper, now people will be more relaxed on this site when they post and not scared of her backlash, and normal women that are going through the visa process can support each other and share any information without the rude posts from her or any hidden agenda. she will return under a new username if she isnt a member already, but i hope people are wise to her now.

Contrary to some people's opinion this isn't a point scoring exercise between 2 sites - believe me we gave up that ghost a long time ago - people got hurt in the crossfire - that is why we are so angry at Gemsgirl who actually knew the history and who possibly hoped to have us at each others throats again.

By writing this post - I want you all to see the bigger picture and to state there is no link between us banning Gemsgirl or the issues we have previously had with Chatters - this is to advise those of you who think somehow Strawberry is more to blame than Gemsgirl or is equally culpable. Strawberry is not a member on this site - therefore has no allegiance to us.

Strawberry is a very astute character and you really have to be on your toes if you decide to either engage with her or slag her off - she quite rightly or wrongly - depending on what side of the fence you sit on - can be very critical on comments and posts which are published on the WWW. Chatters is her site and she can do and say what she likes on there - even if some of us don't - tough cookie it's hers - if you have a hide like a rhino then feel free to ignore the advice.

She can be quite constructive - and brutal in equal measure in some of her comments and she will play a very long waiting game if she thinks you are pulling her chain - she seems to have all the time in the world to drag it out before she goes all out for the jugular - she is by no means a part timer lol - she will defend herself and her opinions 24/7, even if she is wrong - she hates to be wrong and refuses to admit it - probably even under pain of death I surmise.

I in no way endorse or like what she does - we crossed swords a long time ago - and have a long history - she can still have a pop at me every now and again however - I have to admire her tenacity - this is her hobby which she dedicates a lot of time too, and is very good at it. Dissection is her speciality so please ladies if your heart isn't made out of brick - avoid arousing her wrath if possible.

She has a hair trigger and sometimes she does attack someone only to find out she has got the wrong person - she does apologise - but very rarely - so if you happen to be in that minority then its best just to let the storm pass - she won't give you a second thought and will carry on as if nothing happened. She has over the years gathered a fan club who really
hate her and at other times has gained support because of her wit and repartee - I too have found myself laughing out loud at some of her posts - but I have no stomach for some of the things that happen.

Lots of brave souls have as I said dallied with her over the years - some live to tell the tale and bear the scars others fell by the wayside - learn to do what the vast majority of us do - ignore it - she will soon tire if you don't play and move onto even more willing victims who think they can take her on and live to tell the tale.

Morale of the story - I do not want another site war - I cannot be @rsed with the hassle - so there will be no more pops at her on this site - if you have an issue with her then take it up with Da Management on her site which you will be glad to hear ....... is Strawbs herself.

Yet more proof that Jan will only ban people if and when it suits her. GemsGirl slagged her off in PMs to Strawberry and that's what initiated her banning - simple.

She's got her carefully worded moderation policy that witters on endlessly, making all the right noises about harrassment, bullying, personal insults, racism and all the rest, full of sanctimonious principles it is too but at the end of the day it's all a crock of sh1te.

Everyone knows that JW threatened violence against me on TL but she wasn't even pulled up for it, let alone banned. Jan didn't have an issue with it of course because the threat of violence was made against me

TL is Jan's site and people can do or say what they want there. Problems only come, and bannings only become a possibility if what they say bothers her personally. I was banned from TL yet I never said a word out of place there. Yet more proof that Jan is a law unto herself on her own site and doesn't adhere to her moderation policy if she doesn't feel like it. At other times, when it suits of course, she'll hide behind it.

I'm reeling here...I have to add I remember all this but not each bit of evidence and you can forget things after a bit.. unless you have a good memory but Strawbs was right all along and she got all the shit coz I remember now Strawbs warning them over there to get rid of GG and it was only when they ignored her that she exposed the GG and so low is Sirin she even tried to push the blame in that sneaking way of hers on to Strawbs making her a scapegoat..and she knew what was going on! Shame on SIRIN! SHAME!

Oh, how true Strawbs. How very true. Perhaps she did see the irony of it eventually and that's why she changed it!

First of all I'd like to reply to Yvonne's post, which I have seen before - but had kind of forgotten about. And then I'll go onto Sirin later....



I had NO dealings with Gemsgirl whatsoever. She came over to my site (for whatever her reasons were) long after I was banned from TL - for nothing I might add. Nothing at all - except the fact Zilliboncuk (and we all know who SHE turned out to be!) and the now ex-managers, Christine and Delimersin, put pressure on Yvonne to ban me. She told me that in an email, which I've still got. And Sirin, as usual, loaded the bullets and stood back watching. I got banned for NOTHING from TL - and any member can trace back and see that's true. They just didn't like me being on there - even though I went out of my way to be NICE to them - and even when they had sly digs at me - I ignored it - and was STILL nice to them! Hell, I bit my tongue in order to be nice to them.... Check it out - it's all on there! The irony of it is, that little group of misfits (except Yvonne herself) all joined up to the site opened with the sole purpose of abusing me! The one that Yuku closed down 3 times (which would then re-open under different names - but run by the same, twisted misfits) and is now running under a new name (with a different server) by the same repulsive misfits - Linzee and Sirin.

Under no circumstances was I in any way implicated in the dirty dealings of Gemsgirl - I was actually the ONLY person who warned everyone about her. Repeatedly! And everyone knows that's true. On Chatters I regularly pointed out discrepencies in Gemsgirl's claims - and publically warned everyone that she was a FAKE and was bamboozling TL members. I did that because I thought it was APPALLING how she obtained money under false pretences - and gave terrible, misguided advice to boot! I was not prepared to sit back and watch it happen - even though they weren't MY members. So I warned...and warned...and warned...until I was forced to carry out my warning that I'd reveal her PM's if something wasn't done about her. Cos I knew Sirin would DEFINITELY ban her then! But only because Gemsgirl had insulted HER! So I'd like to make that VERY clear - I was the only one who tried to WARN those naive and innocent women about Gemsgirl. Had I been nasty, immoral and vile, I could have sat back and just watched, and said nothing. But unlike Sirin, I will not sit back and watch women being taken for mugs - and when they're being taken for MUGS on the very site they've come to for SUPPORT, HELP and ADVICE - it really hits a new low! Especially when they're PAYING for the privilege of it, too! They were being robbed, and given WRONG advice - and Sirin was in on it! I warned Sirin REPEATEDLY (through posts on Chatters) that if she didn't ban Gemsgirl I would take it further. But Sirin, in her smug way, ignored my threats. Not only is Sirin nasty - she's greedy - cos she was also gaining out of Gemsgirl's wrongdoings. In some ways, she was worse than Gemsgirl.




The point where Yvonne says I can be "quite constructive" - I can be VERY constructive. I've even helped and advised people I don't like, just out of sheer decency. I don't like blowing my own trumpet, but I have a wealth of experience and knowledge - and about a whole variety of things too - and I can give excellent advice and constructive criticsm. Yes, I can be scathing and bitchy - if I'm provoked! I will defend my opinions and stick up for what I believe in - I'll also support the underdog if I feel they're in the right. I'm an extremely loyal person in that respect. I know that my friends treasure and value my friendship - I've been told I'm one of the kindest, caring and most generous friends they have - so I resent being made out to be seen as some ogre! Yes, it's true I'm probably not a good enemy to have - but the members on these sites must know that - and so shouldn't incur my wrath should they! They shouldn't open up SICK websites where they taunt and revel in Dave's death! What do they expect?!!!! I'll go for more than their fat jugular! And it isn't true that I HATE to be wrong. I don't LIKE to be wrong - who does? But I'm certainly far from perfect, and do occasionally make mistakes - and when I do I ALWAYS APOLOGISE - profusely, in fact.



Having cyber-wars is certainly no hobby for me! Being abused, insulted, threatened, denigrated, lied about, smeared, and having my privacy invaded is certainly not a hobby I'd choose! What d'you think? I stick fuckin pins in my eyes, too, while reading the shit they spout?! I don't go looking for victims - they stumble upon me - either because they're stupid - or because they want to start a fight with me. When I first joined these sites it was to WARN women about some of the loverats in Turkey - and because I dared shake sense into some of these blinkered starry-eyed women - they went mad at ME for bursting their bubble! And that's basically how this all started way back when.

Yvonne herself has said she thinks I'm astute - and who am I to disagree with that? I like a bit of flattery! And I'll go along with what she says. Why not?! And yes, I do know how to handle different situations, and how to act and behave in different circumstances. If I'm presented with a screeching foul-mouthed hyena, I'll get down and dirty with it and give it a good kicking - it's all it understands. But likewise, when I'm dealing with a normal, intelligent, decent woman I never resort to insulting them. I'm astute, remember.

Isn't it strange that the only real emotional response comes from Yvonne and nothing even remotely emotional came from Sirin and she is the one that the most dealings with the members than any of the other mods.

I think Gemsgirl joing Chatters was done with full agreement of Sirin as she wanted a little mole.

Ooh, I think you've got a good point there, Teenz! I was extremely suspicious of the way Gemsgirl sucked up to me, and though I never told her so, I did wonder how she was allowed to post on Chatters (quite cheekily, too) and still remain a member of TL. Usually, Sirin slings them off and bans them when they come over here - so I think you do indeed have a good point - Sirin sent her over as a mole. I know she was ALWAYS trying to correspond with me by PM, rather than on the public board, and she tried to pry information out of me about myself - I noticed that. Because she PM'd me so frequently, I actually offered her my number and asked her for hers - I thought it would be easier and quicker to talk on the phone. But she was having none of it. She did not want to give me her number - and now we know why! She was a shocking liar, too - much of what she said even about day to day things didn't add up.

She once mentioned about her mother flying on Thomas Cook, and that she was disabled etc, and used to only fly first class - I can't remember the full story, but she tripped herself up when I asked her how her mother got onto the plane. She didn't even know aircraft have aisle chairs to move disabled passengers around inside the cabin (and I'm the worst person to lie to about flying and aircraft!) I think she was insane, actually. Even her writing - and I don't just mean her bad grammar - but the content of it and all the hundreds of smiley icons she stuck on almost every sentence - some solicitor!

Back to Sirin - again, you're so right. Her writing is COLD (like her) and emotionless. Someone who met her told me that Sirin came across very cold and hardened, and it certainly shows in her writing. She's also very anal. Have you noticed how she never makes a spelling mistake or typo? Even the greatest authors in the world make the occasional typo or spelling mistake - because they're typing from the heart. On a forum, nearly everyone makes the odd typo or mistake (I do myself, occasionally) and it may seem lazy, but if I do spot it once it's been posted, unless it's a very bad mistake I just leave it, cos I know that people reading it will understand it's a simple typo. But Sirin is so anal that she has to take great pains to make sure she doesn't make one spelling mistake or typo - she doesn't want to be seen making a mistake. She's anal. She wants to appear educated and cultured (but she's not, actually) she's not well-educated. I went to a private school - which rattles her cage - and she went to a state school. OK, I was lazy (I admit it) and I got married terribly young and had my daughter at a young age too, but Sirin never got married until her late 30's. So how comes - being free and single - she never made anything of herself? She never mention A-Levels or University - you noticed that?! And while I'm in no way decrying Admin Officers (I'm no Hyacinth Bouquet) you would have thought with all her 'supposed' education and being a spinster until she was almost in her 40's, that she'd have carved a career out for herself - rather than just being an Admin Officer or Supervisor. Admins don't even have the same status as a Secretary - and that's what I actually was!

As far as Yvonne's concerned, yeah, that last post of hers was a bit, well, put it this way - I wouldn't include it in my CV! lol BUT, I have to say that I do admire Yvonne in many ways, even though we did, as she said herself, 'crossed swords' at one time. Yvonne doesn't muck about, she's always up-front and to the point, and she's not afraid to call a spade a spade. And she tells you to your face, too. Unlike the sneak, Sirin. I actually think Sirin is very jealous of Yvonne on the quiet. Looks-wise (and Sirin really reckons herself!) Yvonne has a very pretty face. Sirin doesn't. OK, Yvonne may be somewhat overweight - but so is Sirin - and Sirin is STOUT and shapeless with it. She's got the shape of an Arctic Roll. But what REALLY must make Sirin ache with jealousy is that Yvonne is happliy married in a NORMAL marriage, and her husband is nice-looking (a bit on the chunky short side, maybe, but that's better than weedy!) and he's a MAN. A REAL man. And if that alone wasn't enough to eat away at Sirin, Yvonne has been to university, got a degree, made a better life for herself - all her own doing - has moved up the ladder - and the cherry on the cake is that she has a good-looking NORMAL husband and two beautiful children. They're a family.

Oh, and Yvonne doesn't need to walk around with her laptop like it's an intraveneous drip! She has a LIFE.

Who would you rather be out of those two? I know who I'd rather be!

Well, I know who I'd far rather be on a site with Strawbs - at least with you, what you see is what you get and that's the way you've always been. You do not try to be all things to all people so as to curry favour, having one persona for public and one for private. People either love you for it or hate you for it.

I think that in many of the points she made about you Yvonne is acknowledging that too.

She is just awful and wicked, and what's so frustrating about it is how she's managed to pull the wool over people's eyes by pretending to be all syrupy, soft and calm, when really, she's a bile-filled, cold, callous lying hypocrite - who pushes women into disastrous relationships. She's tried to toe the line recently (since her cover was blown) but she can't undo what she's already done! It's too late!

No wonder her work colleagues can't stand her. It's so much easier to deceive over the Internet isn't it? I think this another reason for her obsession - she can cyber mug people - and get away with it, too.

You know yourself how quickly word gets around on these sites - it spreads like wildfire. Even if she hasn't looked herself, you can guarantee someone's told her! And she'll just sniff in that smug way of hers, thinking to herself that her members are thick and stupid - and will just let it go. But it will NOT go away! In fact, it's gong to escalate!

Oh, slightly off-topic, but she also LIED about her qualifications on TC - she said she 'TRAINED AS A PSYCHOTHERAPIST'. Big fat lie! I wonder what's going to happen about that...............

Its a criminal offence what shes done.....both the gemsgirl fraud case and the psychotherapist claim case......not sure if anyone is aware of that.....................ask a solicitor online and they will tell you.......

Furthermore, lets not forget the email Sirin sent to Teenz saying she was under the impression that Gemsgirl took money from her members. FRAUD BY FALSE REPRESENTATION AND SIRIN AN ASSESSORY TO THE FACT.
