Why doesn't anyone tell that Yank who's dating an avatar, that she's wasting her time? I can't for the life of me understand why no-one's told her the whole things is a joke - and she has THROWN ONE YEAR AWAY of her life on an avatar! OK, he talks to her - on MSN - but they have NEVER met; have NEVER even spoken on the phone; and they don't even speak on Skype! I'm wondering if they've even seen each others photo's?
He's already let her down, by telling her she couldn't go and visit him as planned - he had NO intention of her going over! He's either married - or passing the time away talking rubbish to her on MSN because he's either bored at work, strange, lonely or a bit nasty. Maybe a combination of the lot!
He's already told her he's saving up as he needs the money - he's testing the water and moving in for the kill.
She is incredibly gullible and naive - and for her to think she LOVES this person SHE'S NEVER met is insane! How can you love someone you don't know?! And for her to think she could get a job as an ambassador - oh - I wanted to put my face in my pillow with embarrassment for her!
She is obviously extremely lonely, and she did get annoyed with me on TC when I spoke about LDR's, and I thought she was very rude - but I bit my tongue. However, I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the woman. I thought she was a fruitloop, and just potty, but I really do feel sorry for her. She's desperate to be loved, and this man obviously knows that. He is going to try and get money out of her - I guarantee it. He doesn't want to meet her - ever. He just wants money from her. And he knows she's gullible and lonely.

What SHE needs is to keep on with her studies, give herself a makeover, and go out and make friends with people. Join a club or something - she's wasting her time stuck on her laptop talking on MSN to a sponge.

And when I read that, I kind of had to read it, what, 4 times? 5? Surely she wasn't serious?! Surely not? I wish someone would ask her! She doesn't sound as though she has a sense of humour, so I don't think she was taking the pee? Does she know what an ambassador is, I wonder?
