Yes, you're right. I think your car has a passport too
well, sort of. The Turks put a big fat car visa stamp thingy in your passport when you bring a car in, and if you're leaving without the car the customs guy will give you one of his evil eye looks and march you off......

But yes, if you can only stay 90 days - that applies to your car, too. Aaw shame! I think Brits with residency who have a British reg car in Turkey (only for a total of 18 months out of 36,though) have to go to all the palaver of driving it to some official government car pound if they want to pop over to the UK for a week or so - or even if they only want to pop over to Greece for a few days. Oh, and they have to give a bond of money to the Turkish authorities, which they only get back when they remove the car from Turkey.
Gamze, can you imagine all the second-hand BMW's flying up and down those winding roads if rats could get their girl of the month to bring him one over?!
