Frigging heck they look darn scarey!! Luckily I'm well away from it but it must be blinking scarey for anyone near to the riots. I hope they catch the hooligans!!!

Oh, there's usually a riot going on with the Turkish sites, Sally! They make these London ones look rather civilised.
I actually live very close to Croydon (about 3 miles away) but they wouldn't come into my area as it's all residential (no shops) and they'd need climbing boots! Haha! I must admit it was a nuisance when I popped to the bank to discover it closed - they've closed all the shops/ garages etc in Purley High Street and have put road blocks up leading to parts of West Purley (where I live) so I don't think they'll make their way up here. It's only the shops they seem to be interested in anyway.
I think they should bring back the birch!

The rioters are gentle folk compared to the scum on some of the Turkish sites.
They should consider putting the likes of these heavy weights into battle, they would accomplish much more that than deploying a load of steamrollers. Only problem would be, they would not be interested in raiding the likes of PC World or Debenhams, they would be raiding every single Greggs they could smash their way into.
